Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for an experienced Applications Engineer to join our team in Tempe, AZ.

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Manage engineering and commercial content to support sales in semiconductor segment.
  • Translates requirements of technical documents into the equipment and software configurations required for sales.
  • Technical liaison between customer鈥檚 technology groups and 蓝鲸体育直播 groups in Japan to expand the business in current and new areas.
  • Under sales鈥� guidance, engages in customer consultation for problem-solving and customer specific applications to establish solutions, part numbers, specifications and commercial items.
  • Assists Sales with training activities / content development of customer-facing materials.

 

You will bring the following skills and knowledge:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, or other related field.
  • Ability to accurately assess customer鈥檚 engineering needs and to recommend the most appropriate product or service.
  • Ability to guide direct and respond to technical queries at the system level.
  • Ability to provide timely and complete product and service proposals.
  • Ability to develop new applications & engineering opportunities to work effectively with internal departments to provide the highest level of customer service possible.
  • Bilingual English/Japanese preferred
